HEALING with HOPE Corporation (HwH) is dedicated to significantly enhancing the health outcomes of the Faith and Caribbean communities in Los Angeles County through a holistic and integrative approach to treatment, care, and support services. This commitment aligns with the strategic objectives of the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative, focusing on linking individuals to HIV treatment, achieving viral suppression, and providing comprehensive care and support. Our program is designed to encompass a wide range of services, reflecting our mission to offer a multifaceted support system for individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS, other STIs, and health disparities.

Comprehensive Treatment, Care and Support Services:

• Biomedical Prevention and Treatment Methods: While we may not offer all services directly, we prioritize facilitating access to critical biomedical prevention and treatment tools. This includes providing necessary information and making referrals for access to condoms, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (DoxyPEP), and Doxycycline Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (DoxyPrEP), among other strategies. Our approach is rooted in empowering community members with informed access to these tools, crucial in proactive health management and well-being. By guiding individuals toward these resources, we aim to support comprehensive efforts in the prevention and treatment of HIV, other STis, and health disparities, underscoring our commitment to community health and safety.

• Psychoeducational Services: Fostering Empowerment and Knowledge:
  Prioritizes education and empowerment for those impacted by HIV /AIDS, other STis, and health disparities. Our approach includes creating nurturing environments through support groups specifically for people living with HIV/AIDS, providing treatment literacy sessions to deepen understanding and effective management of these conditions, and offering life skills sessions that cater to the unique needs of this population. Additionally, we dedicate resources to support the educational and emotional well-being of children and youths impacted by HIV /AIDS, aiming to build resilience and hope in the face of adversity. Our comprehensive psychoeducational services are designed to equip individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to navigate health challenges with confidence and dignity.

• Needle Exchange and Substance Use Harm Reduction: While HEALING with HOPE may not directly offer all services, the organization strongly supports harm reduction strategies, including needle exchange programs, to mitigate the transmission of blood-borne infections among individuals using injection drugs and other substances. Alongside promoting safe needle exchange, HEALING with HOPE commits to providing essential information and making referrals to services that further educate and empower individuals about the risks associated with substance use. Our holistic approach aims to reduce the harm and health disparities linked to substance use by ensuring our community has access to the resources and knowledge necessary for safer practices.

• Psychosocial Support Groups: Establishing support groups as safe spaces for individuals to share experiences, receive emotional support, and access resources to address mental health, stigma, discrimination, and other psychosocial challenges associated with living with HIV.
  

• Linkage to Care and Support Services: HwH aims to ensure that individuals living with HIV (and other STIs) are seamlessly connected to essential healthcare providers, medications, and resources critical for their treatment and overall well-being.
